It Still Takes a Village to Raise a Child in the Digital Age

Abstract

As a famous quotation goes, "It takes a village to raise a child." With technology as well as information dissemination now occurring at a quicker pace, the gap in media and information literacy across all age groups and social statuses has become wider. Acknowledging the need to empower all individuals from different generations and social statuses with media and information literacy to help hone better and more resilient younger generations is important now more than ever. This leaves us with the question, how are we raising Filipino children in this digital age?
